The Real Greek brings the warmth, flavour and vibrancy of the Mediterranean to UK high streets with traditional Greek ingredients and generous hospitality.

The brand champions a lifestyle centred around balance, freshness, and joy in eating. They define themselves with the phrase ‘filoxenia,’ the Greek philosophy of heartfelt hospitality – making sure every guest feels like they’ve stepped into someone’s home rather than a restaurant, with their meals designed to be shared.

The Vision

The Real Greek tasked us with creating an impactful January campaign that would position their food as the ‘go-to’ health option, moving away from the usual diets and veganuary noise to put a spotlight on the health benefits of the Mediterranean diet. The internal team had come up with the concept ‘The Mediterranean Reset,’ and it was our job to bring this to life visually, both across socials and in the restaurants. The overall goal was to increase covers, attract new guests, and build brand awareness.

The Commercial Challenges

Our Strategy

We developed a creative direction that brought the bright, joyful spirit of a Mediterranean summer into the heart of January.

Rather than leaning into muted wellness tones, we created a vibrant, feel-good visual identity that made the dishes shine.

Campaign Structure

We created an identity and artwork that supported The Real Greek’s strategy for ‘The Mediterranean Reset’, focusing on dishes that helped the following areas:

  • Heart: Good fats, omega-3s, and olive oil to support cardiovascular health
  • Skin: Antioxidants and vitamins for glow and hydration
  • Energy: Protein, fibre, and slow-release carbohydrates for sustained fuel

Each plate had a clear benefit hook, such as:

  • “Fuel your heart with good fats from the Med.”
  • “Eat your skincare, glow the Greek way.”

The suite of assets was designed to be digestible, benefit-led content that’s versatile and easily applied across social, email, and paid media.

Campaign Deliverables

Following the development of the campaign’s creative identity, we rolled the direction out across a fully integrated campaign suite to ensure consistency and impact at every touchpoint.

A1 A-Board

We designed a bold, A1 A-Board as a hero for the ‘Mediterranean Reset’ campaign.

Using punchy colour blocking and food photography with a story, the board communicated the campaign message in a clear, compelling way, balancing both appetite appeal with benefit-led messaging.

These were strategically positioned outside restaurants to capture footfall.

A5 on-table menu

To drive consideration at the table, we designed an A5 menu that combined storytelling with clear benefit cues.

The front showcased the campaign’s visual energy, bold palettes, expressive typography, and food imagery.

The reverse gave the customer more details surrounding the thinking behind the campaign.

Focusing on the Mediterranean diet’s credentials and the specific heart, skin, and energy benefits.

This ensured guests not only saw the dishes, but also understood the value behind them.

Website homepage hero

We updated the homepage hero to showcase the Mediterranean Reset creative from the moment visitors landed on the site. The vibrant, high-impact visuals created a seamless link between digital touchpoints and in-restaurant collateral to strengthen campaign recognition, increase bookings, and to encourage them to explore the dedicated landing page for deeper storytelling and dish discovery.

CRM

We developed assets for Real Greek’s CRM, including teaser emails and templates for weekly storytelling content. Each communication was designed to drive bookings and repeat visits, while maintaining the campaign’s vibrant, uplifting aesthetic.

Social media

We created a suite of static and motion templates for the internal team at The Real Greek to use across organic and paid social assets.

Results

From our A5 asset that was used in-venue, dish participation increased by 0.5% vs. November/Devember, helping nudge more people towards the dishes on the Mediterranean Reset Menu. Customers shared user-generated content of the campaign asset, meaning it amplified organically across social media platforms, alongside PR activity, influencer collaborations, and events that The Real Greek implemented as part of the wider strategy.

The Mediterranean Reset gave us the opportunity to cut through the usual January noise in a different way. Rather than leaning into fad diets or restrictive wellness trends, we wanted to champion the everyday benefits of the Mediterranean lifestyle. The team at Flaunt supported bringing this to life through integrated multi-channel campaign creative that seamlessly connected digital and in-restaurant touchpoints, creating strong brand recognition and impact throughout the month.
