The brief.
Build out a stand-alone careers microsite for the Ireland market.
With the Saint-Gobain Ireland website only containing informational content regarding available careers, there was a pressing requirement for a separate platform which allowed hosting of available opportunities and acceptance of applications.
The current Drupal website was also restrictive and unintuitive when creating new landing pages, changing the navigation items and amending content.

our solution.
We proposed a new WordPress website on a subdomain of the existing website. This allows an easy split of all careers-based content from the existing main Ireland website. This is beneficial because it allows separation of administration, and also a slightly customised interface for the two distinct websites.
As part of this, we built the career search and filtering functionality from scratch to allow multiple filters and proximity based matching. We also designed and built a suite of bespoke Gutenberg blocks as part of the WordPress theme development. This allows Saint-Gobain to create new pages easily from the blocks featured elsewhere, not restricted to a rigid template.
