Position Overview

We‘re looking for someone who already enjoys working in Sales and has had success in a New Business Development role already in their career but is now looking for something new. Perhaps that might be a clearer progression plan to chase, a better working environment and culture and/or simply a change of scenery.

We’re now at a stage as an agency and team – which consists of a Client Development Manager, who you will report into, and a Brand Communications Manager – where we need this person to really hit the ground running. You will leverage existing learnings and knowledge you have gained from your current/previous New Business Development experience to get straight to work, with the support of our Client Development Manager and the wider agency, including our Board of Directors.

Hours and location

This is a full-time, permanent position. We offer hybrid working which includes 2 days working from home per week, and we also offer flexible hours when working in our Leeds-based office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consistently lead, plan and deliver multiple, multi-channel prospecting outreach campaigns to continuously generate qualified conversations with good-fit prospects.
  • Lead prospecting experimentation – what works, what doesn’t work, what’s more likely to work, what’s more likely to not work.
  • Bring and drive new business best practices.
  • Build and maintain trusting relationships with key decision-makers to understand their digital marketing needs and challenges and confidently talk through bespoke solutions.
  • Own and develop our sales qualification process.
  • Own and lead weekly and monthly sales WIP meetings and reporting using Hubspot CRM.
  • Work extremely closely with the Marketing team to drive relevant sales and marketing content production and identify events and other offline marketing and sales opportunities.
  • Help shape and develop an agency-wide culture of commercial thinking.
Qualifications and Experience
  • 2-3 years experience in Sales/New Business Development; ideally in a B2B environment – bonus if you have experience working in another digital agency
  • Resilient and proactive
  • Driven and dynamic
  • Innovative and commercially-minded
  • Confidence to use your initiative – which you have by the bucketload – every single day
  • Able to maintain consistency of activity and results over time
  • Pride in your own work and working as part of a team
  • Comfortable being a very visible member of the agency – both internally and externally
